Doorways is focused on creating paths out of homelessness, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Doorways began in 1978 and has been consistently helping those suffering within the DMV communities. They offer different services such as immediate crisis intervention, housing, employment support, and counseling for people of all ages.
Doorways states empathy, collaboration, integrity, inclusivity, empowerment, and respect as their core values, which is something we relate to. That’s why we’re proud to donate to Doorways and support our local DMV neighbors.
Britepaths gives Northern Virginia residents an opportunity to deal with crisis situations while also working towards lasting independence. Northern Virginia is an expensive area, so Britepaths helps those who are struggling day-to-day to maintain themselves and their families in Northern Virginia. They offer different types of programs that focus on financial assistance, feeding the hungry, and support for children.
Britepaths has been helping Northern Virginia for 38 years, so we want to keep helping them with their endeavors so that every Northern Virginia resident can find themselves in a better situation.
The Maryland Food Bank has been fighting hunger since 1979. They pride themselves on leading the movement to end hunger throughout Maryland, which is something we support at Featherfall. The Maryland Food Bank has various partners across the state that help distribute food to those Marylanders needing it most.
We appreciate and support the efforts Maryland Food Bank goes to in order to ensure there isn’t a hungry neighbor in Maryland. At Featherfall, we want to continue assisting them in their efforts which is why we’ll continue to donate to their causes.
