“How do I know if my home has storm damage?”
Most storm damage isn't visible from the ground. Look for dents on gutters, downspouts, AC units or siding, plus granules in gutters and cracked or lifted shingles. A HAAG Certified inspection finds what homeowners and regular contractors miss
“Does homeowners insurance cover storm damage?”
Usually yes. Most policies cover damage from storms, hail, wind, fire, lightning & fallen trees. They typically don't cover wear and tear, aging or neglect. Our licensed public insurance adjusters on staff share free claim guidance so you know what to say to your carrier, not a substitute for retaining a public adjuster on a specific claim
“Will filing an insurance claim raise my premiums?”
Generally no. A single weather claim typically doesn't raise premiums much. The real risk is not filing. Damage gets worse, and a missed filing deadline means you lose coverage entirely
“Will insurance cover my old roof?”
It depends on your policy. Most replacement cost (RCV) policies still cover a 20-year-old roof with real storm damage. RCV pays for new materials at any roof age, while actual cash value (ACV) takes off for age and wear
“When should I file my insurance claim?”
File as soon as you suspect damage, since most policies require a report within 180 days to 12 months. How you file matters too, because what you say on your first call is recorded and used later. Consider getting guidance first

“What does 0 percent APR actually mean, and which package has it?”
The 0 percent plan is on our top-tier metal package only. You pay zero interest over 60 months, so your total is exactly the project price in 60 equal payments. There's no deferred interest and no balloon payment. Our other packages carry a 60 month plan at 7.99 percent APR and a 180 month plan at 9.99 percent APR
“Does checking payment options affect my credit score?”
No. The first step is a soft inquiry that doesn't show on your credit report. You get a hard inquiry only if you go ahead with a specific offer
“Is the price higher if I pay over time instead of paying cash?”
The starting price is the same either way, set before you pick how to pay. Paying in full within 5 days takes 5 percent off, so cash ends up lower. On a plan you pay the full price. Every plan adds interest except the 0 percent plan on our top-tier package
“Who is the lender for payment plans?”
Service Finance Company, LLC. They're a nationally licensed home improvement sales finance company and FHA Title I Lender, authorized in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. FEATHERFALL™ Restoration is not a lender and doesn't make credit decisions
“Can I pay off the balance early?”
Yes. You can pay off the balance any time, and no plan has a prepayment penalty
